This place will rob you blind. Poor service. The food you want on the menu isn’t available. Got two drinks and the bill looked like I had eaten a cornucopia of plenty. Spare your wallet and reduce your expectations. Run!

Lovely beach restaurant, good sized portions, delicious food and strong cocktails. Be careful and drink responsibly.

We love Madeariman's. Over our many trips to Anguilla it is our historical fist night stop, especially when we are staying on SBE. That did not change this trip with COVID and our quarantine. We called and ordered pizza and Kendon delivered it. That was awesome.

UPDATE: first day back on the island and we had pizza at Madeariman's. What a shocker.

View and location - literally on the beach and you can't get better than that. Lovely locale.

Food was ok. Had the fish which was salty, sauce was oily. Still, overall, it was alright.

Service - lacking. One of the waitresses was rude and abrupt and told us to sit at another, less nice table, because the one we choose was to large. This was notwithstanding the fact that other couples are also seated at large tables.
We were never escorted to a table when we came in but left to choose for ourselves.

Had it not been for my friend, I would have walked right out, tbh. He wanted to eat there plus it was my treat.

This place has a great view and lovely food. I went there for dinner on Wednesday and it was really tasty. So of course I wanted to visit the restaurant on my last day (Saturday) on the island to have another drink or meal.

Well that was impeded by Lucy (I have no idea of her station there but she definitely deserves a demotion; or if she is the owner she should let others do the client service). Lucy first approached me to ask me when I was leaving as my car was parked wrong. I had parked where I observed previous cars parked on Wednesday; but was fine with moving the car to a more appropriate place- and I did. I then returned excited for my drink with a view before heading to the ferry.

I saw an open table at the front and asked the bartender if I could sit there (as I am solo). She said of course. I went to the table and was quickly berated by Lucy (in front of many other diners) about why I sat there etc.etc.etc.i informed her that I had asked and the she was like ‘do you even know what you want’…I informed her that I had already ordered at the bar and that I would only be there for 20 minutes. With that she stalked off.

I felt belittled and angry and decided that this place doesn’t deserve my money; and left. Who yells at a customer?

As I walked to my car a local told me that this place had a reputation for being racist at times. I’m assuming it’s when Lucy is on the schedule. She is a piece of work. I definitely don’t recommend this place as long as that lady and her arrogance are employed there.

Took incredible care of my family today, love this place. Highly recommended. Fantastic food fantastic location

I love their pizzas for takeout when I don’t feel like cooking! Dining-in is a lovely experience as well.

Amazing restaurant on the beach of shoal bay. I recommend 100% food and service is good as the view thanks to the team and Amine

Oh wow that’s the only word that come to me right now, these people are so nice and warm welcomed, you feel like home very very quick, the service is perfect, a little slow like everywhere in Anguilla but don’t worry your dish will worth it, ask if they have the cray fish, it’s like a baby lobster that you can find only at Anguilla and it’s so so so delicious, tasty and gourmet, you will love it.

They have great wines and the beach chairs aren’t s expensive, so this is your place to spent a day in shoal bay having fun and quality service.

This place is delicious! Great views and great service. The lobster pizza was absolutely delicious and fresh. The Asian shrimp and noodles was also very good. Finally the shrimp kabob was insane. When I took a bite into the shrimp kabob I thought I was eating a juicy steak.

You will not be disappointed if you go here.

We went here twice this past weekend. The staff was very friendly and food tasted great with great presentation. We had the beef and steak kebabs, flank steak. Flavor was great on the beef, I desired a little more flavor on the chicken. Rice and peas were great and drinks were tasty. Views of Shoal Bay were great and live music was a plus. We will definitely come back.

We stayed a few hundred feet down the beach and Madeariman was a frequent stop for us during the week. We started going for drinks but stopped by for dinner on a Sunday night. The food BLEW my mind. You would expect this kind of quality from a four or five star restaurant while sitting at a table with a white tablecloth.
The team at Madeariman was also wonderful. Every person we encountered was friendly, helpful, and had a great sense of humor.

Fantastic as always, spent my wife's birthday there with her and the kids. Staff, food, and entertainment were all awesome!

The food was fabulous and the band was amazing. I LOVE ANGUILLA. Can't wait to come back.

Slow service. Only one of a couple people there. After waiting a long time, wrong order was brought out. Waitress argued that's what was ordered.which was ridiculous because couldn't eat it anyway due to an allergy. Would not recommend. Atmosphere felt very stiff. Food took a long time, but was yummy. Won't be back. 2 stars for decent food though.

Great Beach view with covered dining. We all enjoyed our meal and cocktails.
Food was fantastic! I had the mahi mahi kabob. Beautiful presentation and it was delicious. Would definitely go again.

After a rugged half day at Captain's Bay (which was awesome), came over to Shoal Bay for some food and wine. The Madeariman did not disappoint! Split a Mahi Mahi Fish sandwich, Fries and a bottle of Rose. Totally chill place and obviously a local favorite. I love going to a place where the staff loves to talk and make sure you are not just OK, but having a great time! Thanks! Hope to return.

The chicken nuggets were good… but that’s about it. Snapper filet was just ok. Pasta was terrible. Come for the ambiance!
